This is what AI GEMINI has to say about the 3 lens camera systems available currently out there; Don’t fall for the ‘triple camera’ marketing trick.”
Your main phone camera has a decent 1/1.3-inch sensor. But those secondary ultrawide and telephoto lenses? They drop down to tiny 1/2.55-inch sensors.
That means those extra lenses gather less than half the light. In dim lighting or high contrast, image quality degrades, noise spikes, and fine detail disappears.
The truth: Brands boast multi-lens systems, but only one lens carries real heavy-lifting hardware. If you want maximum sharpness and dynamic range, shoot with the main sensor and use foot-zoom whenever you can.
